The Pregnancy Care Center Of Wayne County
The Pregnancy Care Center is a local outreach program focusing on Wayne County. It was developed in 1984 as a resource for young women struggling with the changes of life that pregnancy brings. At that time, pregnancy testing was offered along with support and education.
Over the last 30 plus years, the Pregnancy Care Center has expanded with several new programs to help people in the community. We now offer fetal ultrasound, parenting classes, jail ministries, men’s ministries, recovery and infant loss support, and school educational programs in addition to hosting Bible study groups.
Despite all of these new additions, the heart of the Pregnancy Care Center is still to encourage and support pregnant women. For some, being pregnant seems like the end of the world, so they decide to terminate the pregnancy immediately. The reality is that there is a young life that needs care, and it is hanging in the balance. This type of decision should be made with the help of reliable counsel. This is the only chance at life you will get. Guilt about hastily made pregnancy decisions is a heavy burden to bear. The Pregnancy Care Center can help you consider other options so that you will not have to face tomorrow with regret.
